Vishen's first posting was in Redreave Mill, to the Reave warband. Cinder stopped him, however, and he was named Ryland Steelcatcher after this incident. During this period, the fahrar's primus would be cruel to the cubs, so Ryland attacked the primus, nearly killing them. Īt a young age, she joined the Steel Warband, along with Cinder Steeltemper, Ranoah Grindsteel and Ryland. She particularly enjoyed eating meat, especially seared dolyak. Vishen was raised at the Blood Legion Fahrar in the Blood Keep, where she received a badge for her sharpshooting abilities.
